Improvements:
- The image editor now speaks your language. Every tool, tooltip and options bar is translated, in all ten languages.
- Settings is fully translated too, including the save mode, filename format and shortcut descriptions.
- The cloud settings, the messages after copying or removing an image, and the undo actions are translated as well.
- The search box in Settings now finds sections by words in your own language, not only the English ones.
- The Russian translation has been reviewed from start to finish by a native speaker.Downloads

New Features:
- ShotScreen now speaks your language: the entire app is available in ten new languages, including German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Pick yours in Settings.
- Move and resize the preview: hold Option (configurable in Settings) to reveal two handles that let you drag the preview anywhere on screen and make it any size you like. ShotScreen remembers your position and size, also inside the editor. You can also keep the handles always visible.
- Open files directly in the editor: turn on the new Settings toggle and any image you open with ShotScreen jumps straight into annotate mode.
- Save to original file: when you open an existing image with ShotScreen, a new button in the editor writes your edits back to that file, just like Preview does.
Improvements:
- The Dock icon no longer sticks around after opening a file with ShotScreen (App Store version).
- Fixed leftover toolbar buttons that could stay visible after confirming an edit.
- The hide animation now slides the whole preview off screen smoothly, from any position.Downloads

- Service messages: ShotScreen can now show a short notice from us, for example about planned server maintenance. It appears as a card at the top of Settings, with a small info badge on the menu bar icon and a breathing info button next to a fresh screenshot until you have seen it. Maintenance times are shown in your own time zone.
- Update badge: the menu bar icon now shows a small arrow when a new version of ShotScreen is ready, and the menu tells you which version is available.Downloads

Improvements:
- Fixed image upscaling: the result could come out shifted, with part of the image cut off. Small images were hit hardest, but the edges of larger ones were affected too.
- Fixed shadows that were cut off with a hard line around the preview, the edit toolbars, the layers panel and the Settings window.
- Some shadows only appeared once you moved the mouse over them. They now show up right away.Downloads
